Get to Know Me

Searching for new challenges and experiences, Aaliya McLean moved from her hometown of Philadelphia to Los Angeles in 2015. With this change to West Coast living, Aaliya discovered that some of the most unique and enriching real estate opportunities are in LA.
 
Something that has also proven to be most handy in Aaliya's real estate career is her professional experience in number-crunching. After obtaining her bachelor’s in finance and MBA with a concentration in accounting, Aaliya embarked on a finance and accounting career that lasted 10 years. Accounting is a highly transferable skill, which was especially helpful for Aaliya as she pursued her longtime interest in real estate — focusing primarily on helping clients search for investment properties.
 
Concentrating on investment property transactions appeals to Aaliya because of her own positive experience. Back in Philadelphia, she purchased a rental property with her father, doubling their investment in just six years. Not only does Aaliya want to continue building wealth for herself and her family, but she also wants to teach others how to do the same. Aaliya enjoys helping first-time homebuyers begin their journey toward wealth creation, particularly young professionals.
 
Aaliya is currently working toward her California Association of Realtors® certification, which she plans to complete by the end of 2021. She also keeps one foot in other ventures, including her launch of Pearled Out Para, an online Greek life apparel business she founded with her sorority sister. In her downtime, Aaliya enjoys hiking and dancing and is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
