About Djuna Citrin

As a native Angeleno born and raised in Venice and Santa Monica, I have a deep rooted love and understanding of the Westside. After 27 years as a hairdresser, I followed a lifelong passion and became a licensed real estate agent because looking at homes and talking about them had become more than a hobby, it was my calling.

 

My family and I have built a life and career here on the Westside. My brother is a 2 Michelin star chef with 6 local restaurants, and my sister is a hairdresser in Santa Monica. Together, we know the heart and rhythm of this city. I bring that local insight and connection to every client I serve.

Real estate, to me, is not just about properties, it’s about people, stories, and the next chapter in someone’s life. Whether helping a client find the perfect home or preparing a listing to shine for the next owner, I approach each experience with integrity, heart, and fierce loyalty. I pour 100% of myself into everything I do.

Outside of work, you’ll find me hiking, riding horses, roller skating, exploring museums and swimming in the ocean. I have a thirst for knowledge and a fascination with history, always seeking new perspectives and experiences. My favorite mini road trips are Joshua Tree and Ojai. I visit them often.

 

Since the age of 12, I’ve wandered into open houses just to feel the energy of a home. I’ve always believed our homes are sacred spaces where we rest, grow, and create a life that reflects who we truly are. It’s an honor to help others find or sell that kind of space, and I consider it a privilege to be part of their journey.

I have a deep love for architectural homes, especially the clean lines and timeless appeal of mid-century modern and the romantic warmth of Spanish style properties. My dream home? A wood-clad retreat with floor-to-ceiling windows that blur the line between indoors and nature. I’m endlessly inspired by the unique character each home carries. From custom tilework to original wood beams. I notice the small details that make a house feel special. I believe every home tells a story, and I love uncovering what makes each one distinct. Backyards, in particular, hold a special place in my heart. They’re often the first thing I look at when viewing a property. To me, they’re an extension of the home, a tranquil refuge and a canvas for memory making. I truly love every aspect of what makes a house a home.
