Five Fun Fall Activities To Do Around East Los Angeles
Fall is finally here and to celebrate, Los Angeles has a ton of great events to celebrate the season. Whether you are looking for a fun time with your family, experience another culture, or spook yourself for Halloween, there’s something for you right in your local area. Here are five Fall events to check out this year:

Harvest Moon Celebration, October 3rd, The Huntington: The Harvest Moon Celebration is a mid-Fall holiday in China, Vietnam, and other parts of the Asian continent. Attendees will sample traditional Chinese cuisine and drinks while walking around the gorgeous Chinese gardens to music. It’s a great event to learn about another culture while celebrating all things Fall.

Oktoberfest Downtown LA, October 20-22, Pershing Square: What Fall celebration would be complete without Oktoberfest? For the third year in a row, DTLA’s Oktoberfest will feature German food, music, and of course, craft beers. Grab your favorite stein and make sure to taste of the amazing Thai-Mexican fusion bratwursts only found in LA.

Creep LA, September 27-November 4, Creep LA: Creep LA is one of the best spooky experiences. A blend of a haunted house and a theater performance, this interactive show will truly creep you out. Creep LA is extremely popular, so make sure you grab your tickets asap! This activity is definitely not for the faint of heart!

Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, September 29-October 31, Griffith Park: Hayrides are a classic Fall activity. Luckily, you don’t have to live in rural America to enjoy this fun tradition. Every year at Griffith Park, near the Old Zoo, there is a fun and interactive Haunted Hayride that ends with a nighttime trek through a mysterious corn maze. Spooky!

Pumpkin Festival, October 14-15, Kidspace Children’s Museum: If you are looking for something a little more kid-friendly, check out the Pumpkin Festival at Kidspace. The event will feature music, crafts, carnival games, bouncy houses, and food. The whole event is fall themed and raises money for the museum.
